

2005-2006Nordic Team This last season our team had a very successful season with four of our team members qualifing for the USCSA Nationals in Sugarloaf, Maine. We compete in the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association against schools such as the University of Wyoming, the United States Airforce Academy, Colorado School of Mines and Colorado State University with some of the best college racers in the West. Come join our team and get an affordable quality education while enjoying the excitement and fun of training and competed in the middle of ski country. |
Andrew HartzellBorn and raised here in Leadville, Andrew raced to a 29th place finish in the 1.5K Sprint race at Nationals in Sugarloaf. He is also an avid alpine skier and competed in both alpine and nordic races in high school. Andrew graduated with an Associates in Arts degree and is now at Colorado State College studying to become a school teacher. |
Gloria KlutzIn Gloria's 2nd year, she placed 18th in the 15K Classic race, 19th in the 1.5K Sprint, and was 18th overal in the Women's Cross Country Combined Individual Results at Nationals in Sugarloaf. Gloria graduated with an Associates Degree in Outdoor Recreation Leadership. |
Steve AllenSteve is from Westhampton, MA. In his first year, Steve qualified and competed at Nationals, placing 30th in the Men's 15K Classic race. Steve is a passonate rock climber and is in the Outdoor Recreation Leadership program. |
Matt SchmedemanMatt is from Castle Rock, Colorado. In his first year, he qualified for Nationals, and is a strong skate skier. Look to see him do well in this year's competitions. Matt loves doing almost anything in the outdoors and is in the Outdoor Recreation Leadership program. |
Jason IrwinJason is from Denver, CO. In his first year, he had a sledding injury that cut his season short. This year look to see Jason stay healthy and ski well in competition. |
