Academic and Professional Pursuits: Over the
past three years I have enjoyed teaching a variety of courses
in the English department of CMC’s Summit campuses. Additionally,
I worked as a freelance writer under the business heading River
Bridge Communications. From writing ad copy to text book companion
Web sites to articles covering anything from the evolution of
skiing to water wars in the West, I wrote my way around Summit
County and the surrounding areas. I am currently revising a collection
of essays about family, place, and the search for the good life
set against the backdrop of northern Minnesota’s lake country.
Two chapters have been published in Hayden’s Ferry Review
and The Oakland Review.
