Course Content:
This course includes a short review of pre-algebra concepts and focuses on first degree equations and inequalities, formulas, polynomials, algebraic fractions, factoring polynomials, solving quadratic equations, coordinate geometry, graphing equations, solving systems of equations, and various applications. A graphing calculator will be utilized; the TI-83/83+ and TI-84 graphing calculator are referenced in this text.
